Try a five-minute exercise

A fictional business has four orders: two units at $30, one at $50, three at $20 and one at $40.

  1. Calculate total units and revenue.
  2. Calculate revenue per unit.
  3. Explain why the average of the four listed prices gives a different result.
Check the worked answer

There are 7 units and $210 in revenue. Revenue per unit is $210 ÷ 7 = $30. The simple average of the four listed prices is ($30 + $50 + $20 + $40) ÷ 4 = $35. It gives each order's price equal weight, while revenue per unit reflects the quantities sold.

A useful AI report names the metric, shows its calculation and checks the denominator.

Complete a project you can explain.

The written edition includes six assignments per course, a final knowledge assessment and a scored capstone. You check your evidence against the published rubric before completion is recorded.
