AI infrastructure startup Nscale doubles Bellevue office before opening
The London-based company's U.S. engineering hub at The Eight tower opens in January 2027.

London-based AI infrastructure company Nscale has leased an additional floor at The Eight tower in downtown Bellevue, bringing its total footprint to about 46,000 rentable square feet, GeekWire reported on Thursday, citing The Broderick Group.
The initial 24,000-square-foot lease was pegged to accommodate up to 250 employees; Nscale currently has 50 Seattle-area workers. The office is set to open in January 2027, with the second floor slated for June.
Founded in 2024, Nscale raised a $2 billion Series C at a $14.6 billion valuation earlier this year, backed by Nvidia, Dell, Citadel, Jane Street and Point72.
The company hired former Microsoft corporate vice president Nidhi Chappell, who led Azure AI and high-performance computing infrastructure, as president of AI infrastructure, based in the Seattle area.
